Global leaders, including United States President Donald Trump are attending the annual summit of Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) which got underway at Kuala Lumpur today.

The summit, running from October 26-28 under Malaysia’s chairmanship, is a major diplomatic event attended by numerous world leaders, including US President Donald Trump.
Key agenda items include the signing of a Thailand-Cambodia peace accord, discussions on regional security, and economic cooperation.
While PM Modi attends the ASEAN-India Summit online, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will physically represent India at the East Asia Summit on October 27.
