Delhi Govt Advises Private Offices to Operate at 50% Capacity.

Delhi Government has issued an advisory for private offices in national capital to operate at 50 percent on-site workforce capacity, with the remaining staff continuing to work from home.

The step has been taken as a precautionary measure in accordance with the latest directions from the Commission for Air Quality Management.

Delhi Environment Minister, Manjinder Singh Sirsa emphasized that Under GRAP III, the government is proactively implementing pollution control measures with intensified focus on public health and air quality protection.

He said the government has already mandated staggered office timings for all its offices as well as those working under Municipal Corporation of Delhi, until February 2026, to further reduce vehicular pollution during peak hours.

Offices under MCD will operate from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Delhi government offices from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Mr Sirsa said that over two thousand enforcement personnel from multiple agencies are working to ensure effective compliance with all pollution control protocols.

Private offices are also requested to widely communicate these protocols and ensure prompt, effective implementation in all subsidiary and branch locations.

The Environment Minister said that the government will continue to issue all required directions to tackle air pollution and minimize its impact.
