Hosted by Comedian Trevor Noah for his sixth and final time. Kendrick Lamar leads with nine nominations, while Lady Gaga follows closely with seven. The ceremony was defined by a historic win for Bad Bunny, who took home Album of the Year, and a groundbreaking first-ever Grammy for a K-Pop act.

Music film Awards went to heartfelt documentary ‘Music by John Williams’, which means director Steven Spielberg has officially won his first Grammy. That makes him an EGOT winner – an artist with an Emmy, Grammy, Tony and Oscar.

While the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, also won his first Grammy for best audio book, narration and storytelling recording for “Meditations: The Reflections Of His Holiness The Dalai Lama”. Musician Rufus Wainwright accepted the award on his behalf during the ceremony.

Yungblud won his first Grammy for rock performance for his cover of Black Sabbath’s ‘Changes (live from Villa Park)’. Hardcore band Turnstile won their first Grammy for rock album and later, metal performance.

Experimental dance-pop artist FKA twigs won her first Grammy for best dance/electronic album for ‘EUSEXUA,’ becoming only the second Black woman to win in the category.
