PM Modi arrives in Netherlands on second leg of five-nation tour.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the Netherlands on Friday on the second leg of his five-nation diplomatic tour aimed at strengthening India’s strategic partnerships across trade, technology, innovation and green growth.

Mr. Narendra Modi was recieved by Rear Admiral Ludger Brummelaar, Adjutant-General and Chief of the Military Household of His Majesty the King; Tom Berendsen, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and the Ambassador of India to the Netherlands, Kumar Tuhin, along with other senior officials of the Government of the Netherlands.

PM Modi is visiting the Netherlands at the invitation of Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten. During the visit, the PM Modi is scheduled to call on King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima and hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Jetten.

The discussions are expected to focus on expanding cooperation in sectors including semiconductors, green hydrogen, innovation, defence, water management and resilient supply chains.

PM Modi’s visit to the Netherlands comes after concluding the UAE leg of his tour, where India and the United Arab Emirates signed major agreements across defence, energy and infrastructure sectors.
