PR-DC has reworked its IKA-20-M military-grade multicopter platform, unveiling a new variant armed with a 7.62mm machine gun that can fire 250 rounds in a single sortie.
The IKA-MACHINE-GUN integrates an M86 weapon system that can be configured for single-shot or burst fire modes.
It has an effective range of up to 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) and a rate of fire exceeding 800 rounds per minute.
The drone itself can fly for 30 minutes while carrying a 20-kilogram (44-pound) payload, a capability the company claims no other drone in its class currently matches.
While remote control options are available, the platform is primarily designed for fully autonomous operation, day and night.
PR-DC has released test footage showing the IKA-MACHINE-GUN in operation, including autonomous launch and landing sequences after firing at simulated targets.

Previous configurations of the IKA-20-M have included variants equipped with rockets and aerial bombs.
The machine-gun variant is the latest addition to a line aimed at expanding the platform’s offensive capabilities.
It also reinforces the modular design of the base system, showing it can be adapted to a range of mission requirements.
“The new configuration represents another step in the continued development of modular armament options for the IKA-20-M military-grade multicopter,” the company stated.
“The machine-gun configuration further demonstrates the adaptability of the platform and its ability to support different mission-relevant payloads in accordance with defined operational requirements.”
