Putin Agrees to Resume Trilateral Talks with US and Ukraine to End War.

Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed today to resume trilateral negotiations with Washington and Kyiv on ending the war in Ukraine.

A Kremlin official said that Russian President’s foreign affairs adviser Yuri Ushakov told reporters in Moscow after a meeting between Mr. Putin and US President Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff that the Russian leader has agreed in principle to resume the trilateral talks after November 10.

The meeting was held in St. Petersburg today, where Mr. Putin and Mr. Witkoff discussed several issues, including the Ukrainian peace process. They also discussed the situation in the Persian Gulf and the diesel deal.

Earlier, speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Mr. Trump had warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that delaying a peace agreement with Russia could leave Ukraine in an increasingly difficult position.
