In Jammu and Kashmir, BJP candidates for three Rajya Sabha seats – Sat Sharma, Rakesh Mahajan, and Dr. Ali Mohammad Mir will file their nomination papers today.
They will be accompanied by 28 BJP MLAs, BJP General Secretary, J&K, Ashok Koul, and the state party leaders. On Saturday, the BJP held a crucial meeting in Srinagar, which was attended by all 28 MLAs.
Senior BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the J&K Assembly, Sunil Sharma, said that the main agenda was to plan for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
This meeting was important to decide our strategy and ensure our candidates win.
