Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi advises all Indian nationals to remain vigilant, calm & adhere to safety guidelines of UAE authorities.

Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has advised all Indian nationals in the UAE to remain vigilant, calm, adhere to the safety guidelines of the UAE authorities and follow official advisories in the wake of conflict in West Asia.

The advisory said that the airspace and regular scheduled flight operations continue to be temporarily suspended in view of the exceptional circumstances.

However, the Indian and the UAE airlines have commenced limited non-scheduled flight operations to multiple destinations in India in coordination with the UAE authorities.

The Embassy said stranded Indian nationals can avail themselves of these flights by contacting their respective airlines.

For those stranded after 28th February and whose visas have expired, the UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Authority have announced a waiver of overstay fines for visitors and others unable to depart due to these exceptional circumstances.

The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai, and their outsourced passport, consular and visa services are continuing to function normally.
