FIFA has suspended the All Nepal Football Association, or ANFA, with immediate effect over violations of FIFA statutes involving third-party interference in its governance.
The suspension, effective from June 24, means Nepal’s national teams and clubs are barred from all FIFA and AFC competitions until further notice.
ANFA, its officials and member bodies will also lose access to FIFA and AFC funding, development programmes and training opportunities.
FIFA stated that the suspension will remain in place until the issues are resolved and may be lifted before the next FIFA Congress if conditions are met
