Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel has arrived in New Delhi for his official visit.
The Ministry of External Affairs said that Mr Bettle is scheduled to have a meeting with External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar in the National Capital today.
In a social media post, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the visit provides an opportunity to further strengthen the multifaceted relations between India and Luxembourg.
Upon his arrival, Bettel was welcomed warmly by Indian officials. Randhir Jaiswal, the spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, took to X to express this sentiment, stating that the visit represents an opportunity to enhance the multifaceted relationship between India and Luxembourg.
During his time in India, Bettel is also expected to travel to Chennai. His agenda in the southern city includes visiting the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, as well as inaugurating a new campus for SES, highlighting Luxembourg’s interest in educational collaborations.
