US President Donald Trump to attend G7 Summit in France next month.

US President Donald Trump will attend the G7 Summit in France next month amid growing tensions between Washington and several European allies over the Iran conflict.

According to a White House official, the summit, to be held from 15th to 17th June in Évian-les-Bains in southeastern France, will focus on issues including artificial intelligence, trade, critical minerals, immigration and global security.

The meeting comes amid strained ties between the United States and key European partners, including France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, over differing approaches towards Iran.

Trump has repeatedly criticised NATO allies for what he describes as inadequate support to Washington during the ongoing tensions in West Asia.
